About Soulfulhousemusiccollage(SHMC)

SHMC started as a solo project by Les Calloway (Onemastermixer) as a way to spotlight DJ’S mixes from DJ’S all over the world. Each week he would put up a new mix from a different DJ to help spread the word about this thing called house music and introduce people to DJ’S they may not have heard about and or learn more about their favorite DJ’S. Les then became friends with Kelvin Anderson (DJKELVINTHE1) who was new to house music, their friendship grew and they both ended up playing together on an internet site called Rawcast Radio. After a few months of playing on there the site owner took ill and unfortunately passed on (JIMI ZULU) may he RIP. The site eventually had to shut down and with no where else to play anymore Les and Kelvin decided to start their own site so that they could continue on. Hence SHMC Radio was born and has now been on the air for over a year. At first it was just Les, Kelvin and another DJ named SteveBass who would play on weekends. After a short time and trying new and exciting things we were able to add other DJ’S to the lineup and now have DJ’S from all over the world and are on 7 days a week. This venture of course would not be possible without the listeners many supporters and staff who have offered advice and insight on what it takes to run an internet radio site.
